The Archangels

THE ARCHANGELS
PROLOUGE

In the world of Arcana, it was a peaceful planet that was watched over by the fifteen sovereigns that lived in fifteen sectors high above the clouds of arcana, but sadly that all changed. There was turmoil everywhere after one of the sovereigns was slain by another. He screamed that he was falsely blamed and didn't kill one of the sovereign but they only denied him. He was tried and found guilty of treachery. They cleaved off his wings took away his halo (powers) and sent him down to the surface of arcana for him to die. Once on the surface the boy was left there to die but he was found by a group of travelers and was brought to a nearby town where paramedics were able to save his life.

The next morning I woke up in the infirmary bed weak, lethargic and enraged. I slowly got up out of the bed as the pain from the broken bone stubs of my wings ensued my body.

I looked to the left and saw my cloths next to a girl sleeping, "…Um… (Who's she? Doesn't matter I need to get my cloths but my body's in too much pain right now!)"

"You need some help?"

I looked up as the girl smiled, "Um… I guess so."

She set my cloths down next to me then sat back down as I looked up at her, "Um…"

She gave me a confused face looked down then back up blushing, "Oh…um I'm sorry." She stood up and closed the curtain as I put on my cloths, "Um who are you and what were you doing in the middle of the plain like that? Were you attacked by a daemon?"

I looked at her and shook my head, "No I was…"

Suddenly another came in as I exited the sheet, "Serena there you are, who's this?"

She looked at me and then back to him, "Oh Devon this is the traveler that we helped earlier."

He looked at me as I put on my glasses, "You still look pathetically weak no wonder you were almost killed by a daemon."
I glared at him while pushing my glasses up and started to walk away as Serena grabbed my arm, "Hey wait you're still not fully healed especially with those wounds on your back! Besides we haven't even gotten your name yet."

I smiled, "follow me if you wish to learn"

We walked to the outskirts of the town and arrived at a beacon of one of the fifteen sovereign. "Hey weirdo why the in hells are we here, Dynastians aren't allowed near these grounds."

I turned around, "I don't know if the word has yet reached but have you heard of the death of sovereign Michael?"

They both nodded, "Yeah it was by one of his own…Gabriel which is why both their sectors are nearing war. Are you done because I really don't like this place?"

I put my hand on the tablet and sighed, "This was my home till I was cast down from Azurwrath."

They both looked at me like I was crazy then Serena gasped, "You…you mean to tell us that…your Gabriel Celeste!?"

I nodded as Devon fell backwards, "You've got to be kidding me, you're a sovereign!?"

I looked up, "I use to be one till I was cast out of Azurwrath for the death of my brother."

Devon asked, "Why…why'd you kill your own?"

I sighed, "I loved my brother I didn't kill him. You see I was framed by one of our own."

They were confused, "Someone in Azurwrath is trying to over throw the other sovereigns and to start it they kill the leader or the strongest and banish the one closest to him in line to take over."

Devon then asked, "Then um Lord Celeste, who was the traitor?"

I looked down, "That's a question that I can't even answer. All I know is that I need my powers back to clear my name and to my knowledge I know one person who believes me.

I concentrated all of my might and created my sword spirit, "Aawww what it that!?"

Serena said as a small little bunny like creature with wings appeared and rubbed up against me, "Hey there Izanagi I'm glad you're doing okay."

Devon walked over, "What is that thing?"

I looked at him, "This is the spirit of my sword Izanagi. He's the strongest weapon in all of Azurwrath as well."

Izanagi smiled and flew to the top of my head as I fell to one knee, "Hey Gabriel are you alright?"

I was panting as I looked up, "That was all the power I could muster, I was lucky to even summon him."

Devon helped me up, Thanks Devon, thank you both for basically saving my life, but I must leave now and journey onward to find the bastard pulling the strings."

I started to walk away as Serena walked forward, "We can come with you and help?"

I turned around and held up my hand, "Don't worry about it I don't want you two to be burdened with this."

Izanagi lied down on my head as I covered him with my hat (wizard hat) and his huge ears came through the bottom of the hate looking like I had rabbit ears, "I'll see you two around."

I walked away and vanished in the night as Serena and Devon went their separate way.

As I walked along the forest path I looked up to see the ships flying overhead, many where war ships, "Man this isn't good my region is already wanting to fire the first shots. I need to find the cause of this."

I rubbed my shoulders and felt the bones, "(I wish I had my wings this would've been so much easier.)"

I kept walking as the sun started to rise. I turned to its direction as Izanagi awoke lifting my hat from my head, "Hey Nagi, did you get a nice rest?"

He yawned loudly and slowly lied back down again. I came across a sign that pointed to a nearby port town. "Well maybe I could find a place to stay for tonight."

CHAPTER 1

I kept walking till I reached the porting town of Celeste, "It's weird when there's a town named after you."

I kept walking and saw the sadness of the place, "(Man this place is really sad.) I wouldn't imagine that a place like this is so lifeless, it's so sad."

I walked to a bar and sat down, "Hey what'll it be kid?"

"Um glass of green tea please," I felt Nagi pat my head a few times then nudged my hair with his nose, "Oh also a bowl of milk and a carrot."

The bar tender looked at me confused as Izanagi jumped off my head with my hat and yawned. "AHAHAHA, that's what the carrots for okay coming right up kid,"

The tender went away for a minute then came back, "Here you go warm green tea and bowls of milk with a carrot for the little guy."

Nagi started drinking as I took a sip and someone else came in. I heard boots clicking against the wood as a girl with a short-short, chest high vest, and waste high jacket sat next to me, "Hey Al get me the usual would yah?"

From the back the tender yelled, "ALRIGHT KIKI!"

The girl took off her hat and shifted her eyes then looked back and smiled, "You know it's not polite to stair." I took a sip, "I wasn't staring at what you think, and I was staring at the emblem on your shoulder strap."

I looked at the shoulder strap on her bag and saw the emblem of the Sentient Brigade, "You know of the SB?"

I didn't say a word when the girl then noticed the Archangel Sovereign mark on my neck and noticed that it was the mark of Gabriel Celeste, "That mark…"

She jumped up and pointed a gun at me, "You…what are you?!"

I finished my tea as Nagi ate his carrot. "That's something that you don't need to know."

Nagi climbed up on my head along with my hat as I put money on the table and she lowered her gun, "You're not a Dynastian, your something else."

I turned and smiled "Nice meeting you."

I walked outside as I ventured further into the town and noticed that it changed a little but there was still sorrow.

I walked over to a local historian and walked inside, "Um excuse me miss but what's happening in this town?"

The historian was looking in a book, "Well after the death of Archangel Gabriel Celeste, many took it upon themselves to try and take over while they could and our town was the first hit. A man by the name of Norton to advantage and rob this town of its money and now he comes here every…week to…collect."

She slowly looked up as she looked at me thinking and fixing my glasses as her face turned red,

"Do you know where this Norton guys is?"

She snapped out of it as she walked outside and pointed, "He resides in a rundown warehouse…you're not going to go and confront him are you? It's too dangerous trust me," She lifted her skirt to reveal a mark on her leg, "He's ruthless to where he'll shoot anyone man woman or child because he feels like it. Also my spells weren't a match for his energy weapon."

I thought about it, "(Energy emitting…he must have a rifle.) Don't worry I'll be fine I've dealt with his kind before and stared at death many times in the face. Thank you for your knowledge."

I walked out as she walked to the door and leaned against it, "I…I don't know why but I feel like…I have to help him somehow."

She went back inside as someone walked in, "Noel what's up?"

She turned around and saw the girl from the bar, "Oh Kiki it's been some time."

Kiki saw that Noel was acting weird, "Hey what are you up to?"

Noel grabbed her spell book and staff, "I'm going to Norton!"

Kiki jumped in front of her before she got to the door, "ARE YOU CRAZY!? Noel he almost killed you the last time you're lucky he only hit your leg!"

She pushed her aside, "I know but this traveler went over in his direction and I just can't let him do it alone!"

Kiki looked and smiled, "You like him don't you?"

Noel shook her head as it turned red, "Shut up I just want to help him is all."


Kiki laughed and smiled, "Well then count me in."

Noel smiled, "Let's go he probably covered a lot of ground by now!"

As they ran to my direction I finished beating the guards as Izanagi transformed from his claymore form back to normal, "Well by all of these guards I'm guessing that this is where that Norton guy is. Nagi I think you should stay in weapon form from here on but go for long range this time."

Nagi leaped in the air as he transformed into an energy bow and arrow, "That's more like it now let's go."

I walked in with my hand on the energy string. I kept walking until I came across a room with the same technology as my race, "This Norton guy, this explains everything, he must've came from Azurwrath!"

I turned around and continued through the warehouse until I reached jail cells with women in them.

One of them looked up scared, "Oh god not another one, please don't hurt us!"

I shook my head as I walked over to the locks, "(Damn laser finger print scanner.)"

I pulled back on my bow as an arrow appeared, "Listen all of you close your eyes and cover your ears."

They turned and covered their ears as I created a line of arrows across from my bow and released my arrow as they all clashed with the locks breaking them, "There we go now get out of here while you can!!"

They all ran through to the door as from behind me I heard a shot, "OH GOD!!"

I ran in as the girls were stopped by Norton and one of them was fatally shot by him, "Tisk tisk, you girls shouldn't have tried to escape now," He cocks back his gun, "I'm going to have to kill all of you!"

"NO YOU'RE NOT YOU PSYCHO!!" He looked up as I jumped in the air and shot an arrow missing him but causing him to back away, "Your fights going to be with me Norton not them!"

He looked at my bow and cloths, "Hm…you look familiar but I can't put my finger on it but maybe it's because it's on the trigger… oh well it'll come to me when you're full of HOLES!!"

He pulled up his gun and held down the trigger firing volleys at me as I ran on the railings overhead and dove behind a pillar as I got shot in the leg, "Damn, this guy's crazy."

I dashed to the left as he was still fixed on the pillar I was behind and shot an arrow at him hitting his arm.

"YOU LITTLE… where'd he go!?"

I appeared behind him kicked him into the air and created a pitch-black arrow, "Here we go, ERASER CANNON!!"

I fired a giant arrow at him but he turned around and threw his gun blocking the blast.

He recovered on the ground and pulled out two hand guns, "HAHA GOT YOU NOW!!"

He fired five shots but then they were deflected by a shield, "What the HELL!?"

I turned around as Kiki and Noel came through the door, "Hey there we meet again eh?"

I smiled, "What, what are you two doing?"

Kiki smiled as she started shooting at Norton as he ran for cover, "We couldn't just let you go fight this guy's alone now could we?"

Noel walked over to me and cured my wound, "We can help you."

I smiled as she smiled and started to blush as Kiki turned to me, "We need to get these girls out of here and kill this guy!"

I got up and turned Nagi into a claymore, "He's from Azurwrath, I'll take him on, Izanagi!!"

Nagi released a black and green energy from the blade as I walked forward as Norton stopped firing and looked at me, "That energy…that blade, IT CANT BE, YOUR SUPPOSE TO BE DEAD!!"

I raised Izanagi into the air as the energy fell around me cloaking me in its aura. As everyone looked at me through the aura he saw what and who I was, "LORD GABRIEL CELESTE!!"

I opened my five eyes as the energy was absorbed by Izanagi, "HERE WE GO JADE LOTUS!!"

I pointed him forward and dashed at Norton cloaking myself in the black and green energy turning it into a strange beast. As I slammed my blade down on him the beast's mouth closed on Norton in an explosion. As the energy erupted it rained down on Renni's shield in a liquid form like rain consistently made out of energy.

The girls shielded their faces as I came walking out of the smoke.

Kiki and Noel looked as I walked over to them changing back. "So your…Gabriel Celeste!?"

I nodded my head as Nagi transformed back. "Why are you here!?" One of the girls said in anger.

I sighed and looked, "Believe me or not but I wasn't the one that killed Michael someone else did and framed me for his murder. I loved my brother if I could've done something I would've but now all I can do is try and find the man that's responsible for this hell!"

Kiki looked at Noel as I smiled and turned around, "I thank you two for your assistance, but I must be going now, goodbye."

I tipped my hat as I walked away with Nagi walking in circles on my head.

We continued to walk as we came to a stop and created a campfire. I took out a carrot and gave it to Nagi as I lied against a tree with my stomach growling, "Huh man I'm so hungry."

"Well then I guess I can share my food with you if you want?"

I opened my eyes and saw Kiki and Noel, "What're you two doing here?"

Kiki sat down as Nagi jumped on her lap and fell asleep, "We want to help you and after that ordeal with Norton you wouldn't last a second."

Noel smiled as I nodded, "Thank you both of you, I really appreciate it.

CHAPTER 2

As day came along I awoke and looked around to see Kiki and Noel still fast asleep. I looked around and closed my eyes heightening my hearing, "(Hm there's a waterfall nearby, and I'm going to go freshen up.)"

I got up and walked to the falls. Once I got there I took off my cloths put on my trunks and dive-bombed into the water below.

I finally surfaced and turned around to see the next town but then I turned looked at the waterfall and saw a sign of the Sovereign, "Huh is that a… I wonder…"

I sat on a rock under the waterfall and started to meditate as the water came down on me. Sound itself ceased as energy started to come up from the rock and envelop me.

Meanwhile Kiki awoke and saw I wasn't there and saw the black energy through the trees, "Did Gabriel go over there?"

She got up and walked over to see me enveloped by energy, "What going on?"

I opened my 2nd right and left eye (above the left and right eye) as the eye in the center of my forehead opened and I released my spiritual soul into the water fall and into the encrypted hieroglyphic.

She looked up as the water turned black and a soul appeared from the falls, "Gabriel…it is really you isn't it?"

I looked up as the soul formed into a little boy, "Uriel, Its good to see you my brother."

Uriel sat like I did and smiled, "I knew you couldn't be killed that easily."

I nodded and took in a breath, "Uri, there's a traitor among the Sovereign. Michael was slain by another but I just don't know who it was! I know that the reason for trying to get rid of me and Michael was so that whoever could gain control over the Sovereign."

Uriel thought about it then looked up, "Gab, now that you mention it, it might be Raziel."

I chocked, "Raz!? Are you sure about that?"

Uriel nodded, "Ever since your death sentence, Raziel's been taking charge over almost everything. He keeps saying that he's trying to correct the wrong that you created."

I shook my head, "Then sending Norton down here to take over a town was his version of a joke then huh?!"

Uriel gasped, "NORTON DID WHAT!?"

I was in anger, "Someone sent Norton down here to "cleanse" a town and kidnapped the women and children. I intervened along with others and released judgment on him."

Uriel nodded, "I think you should go see Metatron, he should be in the next town near you."

Uriel turned, "Someone's coming we'll have to continue this later Gabriel, but before I go, here I was able to get your halo. May Azure be with you brother."

I nodded as I held my halo my three eyes closed and my energy reverted back, "Huh thanks Uri."

I placed the halo behind my neck as the water from the waterfall parted from me and my halo grew and stopped rotating.

I looked up as I jumped to the top of the waterfall and reached my cloths as I heard a stick beak looked down then disappeared and reappeared clothed behind Kiki, "What are you doing?"

Kiki jumped as she turned around, "Oh um I was going to um come get you."

I shook my head, "You're lying."

She sighed, "I saw the energy and I walked over. I came in when that boy appeared from the falls."

I smiled, "Okay well then let's get going shall we?"

I started walking as Kiki followed behind me. Once we reached Noel, Nagi jumped on my head and we continued walking to the next town.

As we walked Noel looked at Kiki, "What were you two doing?"

Kiki shook her head, "Nothing I just went to find him but,"

Noel looked at her, "You better make a move on him, before I do Noel."

Noel stopped as Kiki caught up with me then she followed after.

As we made it to the next town Kiki looked around and saw markets everywhere and children were most of the population, "Wow look at all the children here."

I turned, "This part of the continent is protected by Metatron. He's got a large soft spot for children."

I looked and saw a child that was trying to manifest water for a bucket. "He especially likes children with powerful spiritual energy."

I walked over to the child and summoned a ball of water and put it in his bucket filling it up.

The boy looked at me with a big smile, "THANK YOU SIR!"

He picked up the bucket and ran to his house. "This place is the most sacred out of all the regions in the world."

Noel smiled as kids ran by, "Why is that?"

Kiki walked up, "Probably because these spiritually active kids could provide soldiers in Azurwrath, right?"

I shook my head, "Nope, a lot of these kids if they have the right potential will become one of us or a replacement. This is where I came from and where my son was born."

Noel looked down, "So you're married?"

I shook my head, "No or at least not anymore, I miss them so much."

Noel looked down then asked, "Who was your wife?"

I didn't say anything as I looked and saw a kid with clothing nearing mine and walked over to him, "Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to be Metatron's son Tron, would you?"

The boy was slightly scared, "Don't worry; I'm an old friend of his." Tron was scared but I slowly uncloaked part of my halo.

As he saw it he ran then turned around and waved his hand, "Well let's go."

We followed him to a building as he put his hand on the wall and created a door, "Fathers this way."

We followed him inside as he ran over to a boy my age and whispered in his ears, "Father, a sovereign's here."

He put down his book and got up then dropped his glasses, "It can't be!"

I uncloaked my halo and smiled, "Gabriel, is that really you!?"

I nodded, "How's it been Tron?"

He closed all the windows and turned, "How did you survive that fall or how'd you would get you halo back!"

I scratched my head, "Long story but I need to talk to you and tell you, I wasn't the one who killed Michael."

He sat down as we sat on his couch, "I think the entire Sovereign Tribunal knew that you didn't kill him but Raziel was the main vote and we couldn't do anything about it."

I looked around and sighed, "Meta do you know where Ariel is?"

Meta thought about it then looked at a map, "She's still in her region you have to journey through Chamuel and Haniel's regions. Out of the rest of us those two along with Raziel and Jeremiel are the ones that found you guilty. Ariel was the one most devastated along with Uri."

I picked up a picture with Me, Tron, Ariel, Uriel and Michel then looked at him, "What do you mean, she was actually sad?"

Tron polished his glasses as I walked over to him and we talked in private as the others were occupied, "After your judgment was dealt she couldn't bear the sight of you in that capsule practically dead clinging to life with your bloody hand on the glass, helpless trying to reach to us for help but couldn't do anything, none of us could bear it. She left before you were cast down, went to your room, fell to her knees and couldn't stop crying with Karama in her arms. I wouldn't know how that feels holding your son in your arms telling him that his father was sent to die."

I looked at the picture and put it down thinking 'bout the good old times, "It's weird after all of what's happened I thought that she hated me."

I nodded as dusk approached and Meta opened his arms, "It looks like it's getting late, you three are welcome to stay here if you like."


I smiled as he showed us to our rooms.
CHAPTER 3
The next morning we left Metatron's house and continued onward. None of us said a word until we reached the pass to Samiel and I looked around, "Come on this is it."

We came across a mountain pass and continued along it as I looked up, "Keep your guard up okay." They both nodded and walked along the path.

Meanwhile in Azurwrath, "Sir Chamuel, there is an indication of someone trying to pass into your region through the mountain pass sir."

Chamuel put his hand on a mirror and focuses in on us, "Hm…that one in front… no it can't be!"

He grabbed his spear and disappeared. As we neared the end of the pass as wind started to blow fiercer causing the path to start to crumble. We ran to the end as part of the pass crumbled under Noels feet and she started to fall. "KIKI KEEP RUNNING, RAGGING RAPIDS!!"

I cloaked my right arm in a veil of water and blasted it at Noel encasing her in water and pulling her up and catching her in my arms and running to Kiki at the end, "You okay Noel!?"

She smiled, "Yes thank you Gabriel."

"I can't believe it your still alive traitor!" Wind swirled around one area and Chamuel appeared from it with his spear, "Gabriel Celeste well you're alive after all."

I glared as Noel grabbed her spear and spell book as Kiki spun her guns around and pointed them at him. "Chamuel I figured we'd run into you."

He smiled and spun around his spear, "Well I guess since you're here, I can kill you myself!"

Nagi appeared from my hat and transformed into a scythe as my Halo appeared, "Okay you two follow my lead Kiki I want you to have a close eye on Noel since you have better attack speed with your guns. Noel be careful and time it when you cast your spells okay."

They both nodded as Chamuel dashed forward and we clashed. Noel jumped to the left as Rachel jumped to the right shooting barrages of shots at Chamuel but were being deflected by his wind aura.

"Damn, NOEL YOU TRY!"

Noel summoned black energy orbs around her, "HERE GOES NOTHING, SHADOW FLARE!" She released the orbs as I kicked Chamuel back and jumped out of the way.

He turned and was struck by two of the orbs but dodged the other three, "Damn you, SCREAMING GALE!!" He spun his spear and swung it releasing a wind blade and knocking Noel back.

Kiki shot his shoulder as she continued to fire, "LEAVE HER ALONE!"

He summoned energy to his spear and threw it at Kiki as I appeared and batted it away from her, "Thanks Gab."

I turned, "Don't thank me yet."

I pulled back my right arm summoning water to form a ball encasing my whole arm. "Oh this is new but," Chamuel pulled back his right arm as wind started to encase it, "JUST LIKE EVERYTHING YOU DO I CAN COUNTER IT!"

My eyes opened as I threw my arm forward, "Well then try and counter this, VORTEX PULSE!"

I launched a spinning drill like pillar of water as Chamuel laughed manically as he threw his arm forward, "WHIRLWIND SPIN!!"

He creating a cyclone of wind energy and launched it as both the attacks crashed and exploded into a geyser of wind and water.

Kiki ran over to Noel as she created a barrier and shielded them from the torrential blast, "You alright there?"

Kiki smiled, "Yeah but, that was devastating."

I looked up as Chamuel smiled and started to channel wind around his spear, "Your skills are slipping Celeste what's wrong!? You have your halo what else do you need!?"

He looked to Noel and Kiki, "Ah I see you're scared of hurting those two with your energy, well then let me help you!"

He pointed his spear and blasted a spell encased ray of wind as Noel pushed Kiki out of the way and was blasted.

She was slammed against a tree as the energy slashed her cloths, arms legs and face then finally ceasing. Kiki caught her before she hit the ground as she was unconscious.

"Noel…Chamuel, YOU BASTARD!!"

Kiki held up her guns and started to channel energy into them, then released a charged beam almost knocking Chamuel out of the air, "YOUR NEXT!"

He flew at her and swung his spear as I caught it with my hand, "You will pay for that Chamuel."

He snickered; "Ooh I'm scared"

I looked at him as my four eyes turned red and the middle eye turned blue, "Kiki, take Noel and get away from here, NOW!!"

She nodded, picked up Noel and started to run as my halo started to spin rapidly and energy started to expand as I transformed into my Sovereign form, "Lets end this!"

Chamuel ripped his spear away and summoned energy into his arm, "HAHAH WELL THEN, FINALLY YOU'VE GOTTEN SERIOUS CRIMSON TORNADO!!" He threw his spear as it was cloaked with a red and burgundy tornado.

I gripped my scythe and swung it destroying his spear and dispersing the attack. Izanagi transformed back and hid in my hat as I summoned water around me, held my arms back and channeled it as it turned black and green "This IS the end, RIVER OF POWER!!"

I fused it with energy and released it as it transformed into a giant serpent and bit down on Chamuel as it exploded.

I levitated back to the ground as Chamuel laid face down in the energy surging puddle of water as it started to drain him dry with liquid energy spikes impaling him.

I walked over and reverted back as he turned his head, "Da…damn it no matter what I do you'll still surpass me."

I kneeled down, put my hand on his back and took his wings, "These are my wings not yours. Its power made you like this didn't it?"

He smiled as they disappeared and fused back with my broken bones, "Chamuel believe me or not but I wasn't the one who murdered Michel. If you know anything please tell me."

He didn't say anything until I started to walk away and he started to disappear back to Azurwrath, "Gabriel, go…talk to Lucifer. He's…with Haniel he said he saw who really killed Michel but he…was cast down before he could get to the court… good luck, brother."

He disappeared as I spread my wings and flew to where Kiki and Noel were.

As I landed Kiki looked at me then Noel, "She's not walking up, why she isn't waking up!?"

I kneeled down and lifted her in my arms. "That wind that she was struck knocked her soul unconscious, I have to wake it up."

I placed my forehead on hers as a hieroglyphic circle appeared when our heads touched and I entered her subconscious.

I looked around and then saw her soul covered in red and grey wind energy, "Damn, it's completely covered in energy."

I summoned energy and created a sword, "I need to wait till the scar appears." Suddenly both the winds crossed and I released a beam into it breaking it apart and releasing her soul.

As I opened my eyes as she looked directly into mine, "Welcome back sleeping beauty."

She blushed and wrapped her arms around my neck as I lifted her up, "Let's get going Kiki." We started to walk to our next destination.

Meanwhile in the main Chambers of Azurwrath, Chamuel appeared as he was greeted by the other Sovereign as Raziel walked forward, "Did you tell him?"

Chamuel looked up as his eyes turned purple and sounded possessed, "Yes, he's heading to Lucifer and he's trying to get to Ariel."

Raziel walked back and came to Uriel as he was chained up and beaten badly, "You will suffer the same fate that your brother will suffer, isn't that right… Michel?"

Uriel looked up as Michel walked forward and smiled, "Br…brother…WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS!?"

Michel said nothing as he knocked out Uriel and then looked at Raziel, "We need to capture Ariel. Like Uriel she isn't under our control we need to eliminate all ties Gabriel has, even annihilate them if we have to."

He walked over to an orb and summoned Haniel, "Brother what's wrong?"

Suddenly a small child peeked his head into the main chamber as Michel talked to Haniel, "What's the matter my brother?"

Michel looked up, "Gabriel's alive and he's heading to Lucifer and Ariel, I want you to kill Lucifer and once you're done…kill Ariel."

The boy gasped as Michel turned and pointed as the boy ran, "RAZIEL…!"

"Don't worry I'll get him." The boy ran as fast as he could trying to take flight but wasn't able to as he slipped and fell. Raziel appeared behind him as he crawled backwards, "Tisk, tisk just like your father, you always stuck your nose into business that doesn't concern you."

He summoned his blade and stabbed it in his leg as the boy exploded into feathers and disappeared, "WHAT THE HELL!?"

He looked around as the boy was far from his location. The boy ran to a window as Michel appeared behind him, "Such a waste of a life."

The boy turned and was slashed across his chest. Michel picked him up and threw him crashing through the window. Michel walked to the window as he wiped the blood from his blade then walked away.

As walks back to the chamber and looked at Raziel, "While you're at it…HANIEL, look for the body of Gabriel's son. Like his father I feel like he's still alive."

Haniel bowed as the orb disappeared. Tomorrow we execute out plans and take over this world."

CHAPTER 4

As we rested in the Samiel inn I walked outside and looked in the air, "Something's wrong, the air fells…unnatural."

Suddenly I looked up and saw a comet that was red and blue and as it flew over it released blue and red drops of energy. As they collided with my face my eyes opened wide, "THIS IS…NO THEY DIDN'T!"

I saw it crash behind the town, spread my wings and flew over to it seeing blue and red lights. I flew down and walked into the crater and saw Karama, "KA…KARAMA!!"

I slid over to him and picked him up as his eyes opened slightly, "Da…dad they weren't lying you're still alive."

I held him tight as I opened my wings and flew back, "Don't talk I'm taking you somewhere safe just hold on."

Kiki looked around and saw I wasn't there, "Noel, where's Gabriel?"

Noel didn't say a word but shrugged his shoulder. Suddenly I came through the door, "NOEL PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP!!"

I came over to her as she grabbed her book and I placed Karama on the bed, "Who's this?"

Gabriel looked up, "He's my son."

She created an orb around him as it darkened and she took her hands off, "There, this should do it. Now all we have to do is wait, his wounds will heal but it's a slow process."

I sat down as I placed my hand on the sphere revealing his face as the blue and red energy covered him.

I thought about it, "Something's going terribly wrong in Azurwrath what sucks is that even though I have my wings my powers not fully accessible."

Kiki thought about it, "Where's the nearest Sovereign?"

I concentrated, "Actually one is heading this way right now."

I walked over to the window and opened it as wind blew the curtains open and there was a man standing there.

As the curtain covered me I transformed into my Sovereign form, "Haniel…were you the one that did this to my son?"

He shook his head while reaching to the handle of his sword behind his back, "No, but I've gotten word to kill you on sight so GAH!"

I stabbed him in the chest as Izanagi transformed, "If you're going to kill me then good luck with that, HIRUVENDO (Burning Waterfall)!!"

I channeled hydraulic energy into my sword and fired a shockwave of water blasting him far into the forest at the same with enough force to cauterize his wound.

He got up drenched and saw his wound wasn't bleeding, "How the hell did my wound cauterize?"

Suddenly a geyser of black water appeared as I walked out of it held my hand in it and turned it into my sword, "I cauterized your wound because I need to know something from you." I pointed my sword, "Who's the cause of this mess and who hurt my son!?"

Haniel smiled as he turned his sword into a spear as I transformed Izanagi into chakrams that were incased in ice as my halo encased itself in ice and turned into a snowflake like halo, "Come at me Haniel,"

I appeared in front of him as my fist was incased in ice, "IF YOU CAN TOUCH ME, SUBZERO ICE PUNCH!!"

I punched him in his shoulder freezing his whole right arm. "DAMN, GAIA IMPACT!!"

He broke the ice from his arm and punched the ground summoning spikes to fire as I spun my chakrams around and threw them as they flew past the spikes turning them to ice as I clapped my hands and they exploded into shards.

Haniel saw all the ice around me exploded, "(Damn, he's not joking around, if I hadn't broken my arm out of that, I would be armless.) I'll have to take extra precautions, GAIA TECK ARMOR!!"

He turned and saw broken pieces of machinery as he summoned up earth fusing it together into a powerful armor, "This should do it!"

I jumped into the air and jetted down at him, "SUBZERO ICE PUNCH!!" My fist clashed with his armor partly turning his arm into ice before the ice around my arm shattered and he back handed me into trees as I recovered and flew back down then fell to my knees as the clouds above started to darken.

I looked up as Kiki appeared from a bolt of lightning, "WHAT THE…Kiki!?" She ran over to me and helped me up as the broken ice regenerated, "Are you okay?"

Haniel laughed, "It looks like your punches can't break through my armor!"

She helped me regain my balance as she summoned her guns, "BEGONE WITH A THUNDER CLAP, BEELZABUB!!"

Lightning struck around her as she turned into this Succubus warrior, "Come on we can both try!"

I smiled as the water in the air condensed around my arm and sheathed it in ice as I ran at him and Kiki jumped in the air and summoned these two giant missile silo transmutation circles, "SUBZERO ICE PUNCH!!"

I punched his arm again turning it partially into ice as I jumped back and she held out her guns, "ANCIENT GEAR CANNONS!!"

She releases two blasts of energy but the armor isn't affected, "WHAT THE HELL!?"

He smiles and fires a blazing rock at her as I created an ice dome around her, "Thanks, why aren't our attacks working!?"

I thought about it then remembered a time when something hot was broken when it was cold, "That's it, use an attack that can super heat his armor then,"

We both talk, "HIS ARMOR WILL BREAK!"

She smiled and held out her guns, "THUNDER BAZOOKA!"

He took the full attack as his rock/steel armor glew red, "THAT'S IT,"

I summoned my chakrams and threw them in the sky as they turned into crimson red ice dragons, "IZANAGI NOOKAMI, BECOME MY LEGS AS WE FIGHT TOGETHER!!"

I jumped in the air as the dragons fused with me and turned me into a crimson ice dragon. I took my halo and turned it into a giant snowflake chakram and started to spin it rapidly turning the air into ice, "I WONT LET YOU FIRE THAT, TERROR FORCE!!"

He created a giant molten rock ball and threw it at me as I grabbed the chakram and fired the ice gathered from it freezing it as I snapped my fingers and blew it up as ice rain down on him as the snow fell on his armor it turned into ice swords that squired him, "What the!?"

I looked, "Shinku Ten Hyaku Burēdo Sōshiki: Diamond Dust turns anything into ice blades so cold the devil himself needs a winter coat, and this is the end of you HANIEL!!"

I threw the star as it turned into a giant dragon and I fused with it, "DRAGON HAIL BLADE!!"

I crashed into him exploding into a giant crimson ice blade in the form of a flower as I appeared on the top pedal hurt but okay. I turned and jumped to the center of the flower. I was looking down on Haniel's dead frozen body.

I placed my hand on the ice over his head and closed my eyes, "Mirror Flower"

The flower glew black and blue as I saw Haniel's memories then saw him talking to Michel, "Gabriel's alive and he's heading to Lucifer and Ariel, I want you to kill Lucifer and once you're done…kill Ariel."

I opened my eyes and looked up, "We have to hurry, KIKI WE MUST HURRY AND GET TO THE OTHERS!!"

I opened my wings and flew as Kiki created a storm cloud, as we flew back I smiled, "Hey Kiki, thank you for coming to help me."

She smiled, "No problem."

We made it to the inn and walked inside as I walked in and Karama was asleep on Noels lap, "Kiki Gabriel, I'm glad you two are okay!"

I walked over to her, "How's Karama!?"

She rubbed his head as he rubbed his head against her chest, "So, soft almost as soft as mommies."

"He's been resting ever since you two left. He's been dreaming about you and someone named Ariel…he called her mom?"

I sighed and picked him up as he awoke, "Da…dad, your back." He yawned and talked with a sleepy tone, "Yeah I'm here son."

I closed his eyes and planted his head against my chest, "Are we going to see mama?"

I didn't say a word then rubbed his head, "Yeah, we're going to see mama."

I walked over to the window, "We need to get to Lucifer and Ariel ASAP, and I need to talk to them before it's too late."

We walked outside and I noticed people started to crowd around their pets as they started to fall ill. I summoned Hydrogedon (Giant water/ice Gila monster) and he was lying on his side sick and looked like he was dying.

Noel looked at me, "What's going on!?"

I walked over to him and placed my hand on his head and rubbed it as the wind died completely, "We have to hurry. Since the animals are getting sick, that's means Ariel's about to die." But how can we get there?"

Hydrogedon gained consciousness and looked at me, "Come on he has enough strength!" We climbed on his back and he bolted to out of town and continued to the next as we saw ill animals left and right, "We gotta hurry!'

Chapter 5

We continued forward to Ariel's home region and saw dead animals left and right as Kiki hid her face in Kiki's chest as she closed her eyes and Karama started to cry, "Her whole region is dead…all animal life has been terminated."

Hydro started to collapse as we jumped off, "Go back to Megiddo Hydro you'll be safe there from this."

He nodded and exploded into water, "Come on the animals may be dead but Ariel's not. I can feel her energy straight ahead."

We continued to run as we ran into a lion with a green flaming mane and tail with orbs circling him as Noel summoned her staff but I step in front of her, "Vajra!?"

The lion walked over to me and sniffed Karama and me, "Gabriel, this is terrible Raziel's killed Lucifer and souls everywhere are starting to rise and can't be killed!"

He turned and pounced on a fallen soldier and killed it, "Ariel's hurt badly she was stripped of her power and I don't know how much longer she'll last!"

I looked around, "Where is she!?"

He turned around, "Can you three keep up!?" I spread my wings and held onto Karama as Kiki summoned a cloud and Noel created wings on her staff and sat on it, "Let's go!"

We followed Vajra to a broken down house as he turned into a mortal form, "Follow me."

We walked inside as I looked around before and saw people dead too, "(The loss of her power even affects hybrids of Highlanders and animals)."

He opened a secret passage and went down to a secret room and opened the door to see Ariel hurt badly, "ARIEL!" "MOM!"

I let Karama down as he ran over to her and she looked and saw him then sat up as we saw she was missing a wing, "Karama…my baby what are you doing here?!"

She picked him up and hugged him, "We came to save you and daddies here too!"

She looked up and looked at me as she looked at the others, "You're a brave boy Karama I'm glad you're safe."

She looked up, "Vajra can you take Karama outside for a minute please?"

He nodded and walked over to Karama, "Come on now your mother needs to rest okay?"

He hopped into Vajra's arms as he was carried out. Then Ariel looks at me as I walked over and sat down in a chair then signaled Noel and Kiki to leave as well.

"Gabriel, why did you bring our son into this!? Answer me!"

I sighed and created a ball of water in my hand changing it from water to ice to steam then to mist back to water, "I didn't bring him into this."

She glared at me. "Then WHY IS HE HERE!? He was supposed to be in Azurwrath safe from you!"

I looked at a small dagger charm that I use to have then picked them up and my favorite book, "Why'd you keep these?"

Then I saw my pendent that I thought I lost as I fixed my glasses, "More importantly why'd you keep this? If you were so egger to leave and get me out of your life, why'd you keep three of the things that remind you completely of me?"

She looked down, "Stop changing the subject, you didn't answer my question."

I looked into her rage filled eyes, "He's with me, because the Sovereign tried to kill him."

She gasped as I looked at her, "As his mother I can't believe you didn't feel it. I saw and felt it, his energy raining down on me, seeing in his mind what happened to him."

Ariel got up as I was looking through a window and slowly walked over to me placing her arm around mine, "What happened to him? What happened to my baby?"

I looked at her reflection as her hand gripped tightly in mine, "I saw in his mind something I didn't want to believe but I accepted it, everyone's being controlled…by Michel."

She was frozen in place, "I saw in his mind Michel chaining Uriel as he resisted his control. Karama was heard and escaped."

I gripped my chest because the thought was painful to where I could feel Karama's pain when Michel appeared and slashed him across his chest gripped his throat then threw him to the planet to suffer my fate.

She thought about it as I created a crimson/black ice rose, "He sent Haniel to kill him but I caught him and gave him the cold shoulder."

I looked at her and placed the rose in her hair as she looked at me and looked down then smiled, "You never hated me, even after all that's happened huh?"

I chuckled as she looked down and left my arm walking towards the same picture that Metatron had with all of us, "I would be lying if I said I didn't cause when you left me, my heart despised you then when I learned about Karama it enraged me more but I got over it. My love took over again and it pained me wanting you back in my life."

I looked and saw Vajra playing with Karama as Noel and Kiki watched, "I'm just glad he's still the same."

She leaned against my back her head on my spine as she placed her hand on my back, "So what are you going to do now?"

I thought about it, "If it's okay, I want to take Vajra with me to defeat Michel and restore the balance. Also I want you to come with me."

She looked at him then looked down, "But I have no powers?"

I held my pendent as it turned into a halo, "I created this just in case as a failsafe when something terrible happened, here try it can modify to your power."

She placed it behind her as it transformed into her halo and her wing grew back, "Thank you."

She held my hands as she kissed me and birds came to life along with the other animals. "Tomorrow we set out."

Meanwhile in Azurwrath Raziel came to Michel, "MICHEL WE'VE GOT TROUBLE!"

He turned and looked, "What is it?"

He walked over to him, "Gabriel has restored Ariel's powers…and they're heading for your region."

Michel smiled and laughed maniacally, "WELL IT LOOKS HES SMARTER THEN HE'S EVER BEEN!!"

Raziel was concerned, "Um…Michel?"

"Well…it looks like I should clean up so that I can greet our guests. Raziel you should bring our... 'Special' guest along as well."
Raziel smiled a crooked smile, "Yes sir
Chapter 6

That night as everyone was asleep I was still awake and looked at Ariel as she was asleep holding Karama.

I stood out of the bed and looked outside as the moons stood tall in the sky and one out of the four started to turn red, "(It looks like there's an eclipse soon to occur.)"

I clenched my fist as Ariel looked up, "Gab, what's up?"

I turned around as she quickly covered her chest, put on her rob and walked over to me with Karama in her arms still fast asleep, "The Eclipses are beginning,"

I held up my hand as I had an orb of ice as it started to spike, "Which means that every one of the Sovereign is going to get the most powerful energy rush of our lives."

She held up her hand as a ball of lightning started to rotate vigorously, "Yes I can feel it, which means that Michel's going to be expecting us."

I looked at Karama, "We need to leave Karama here with Kiki and Noel I don't want them to get hurt in this whole thing. Vajra's coming with us, we're going to need to find Uriel first then fight Michel."

Ariel held Karama as he sucked his thumb and yawned while placing himself comfortably on her chest, "I agree, but what should we do once we find Uriel?"

I looked at her, "We're going to have to retreat and treat his wounds then strike Michel again at the peak of the eclipse. He'll be powerful," I spread my wings as they started to turn black, "But so will we."
